Sarah Smyle, known to family and friends as "Sarah Bear",
went home to be with the Lord October 7, 2000 after
being hit by a car while riding her bicycle.

Sara Marie Blake was also known to her family as "Sare Bear."  Sara
was killed in an automobile accident on October 17, 2000.  Her mother
Amy says, "She was my only child, my 17 year old daughter, and
best friend. She became a child of Christ on January 14, 1996,
so I know she is in God's loving arms."

Hannah's Aunt Kelley is our Sara's best friend in Colorado. Hannah lived and died at the same time that our Sara struggled for her life. Hannah was born on March 21, 1998 and died from complications due to a genetic disorder and joined Jesus on April 26, 1998. Hannah's mommy, Julie, has a Sare Bear and continues to give them to other grieving mommies she knows. This a wonderful example of how our Sare Bear program has empowered a grieving mother to minister to other grieving mothers using our Sare Bear program. This is our hope and desire for other grieving mothers since it is in helping others that heals our own hearts.
